Emergency vehicles transport a high volume of patients on a daily basis, all with the potential to carry and transmit infectious disease. It is therefore critical to ensure that the surfaces within are cleaned and decontaminated regularly and effectively.

Alongside decontamination using our validated and proven effective hydrogen peroxide vapour (HPV) and ultraviolet-C light disinfection robot technology, systems that are essential to ensuring the elimination of all air- and surface-borne microbes, we offer an emergency vehicle deep cleaning service. The Risk of Infection

There is a high risk of cross-contamination between each patient that is transported in emergency vehicles. The driver and crew are also at risk of acquiring infectious pathogens that can even be transmitted to paramedics and hospital staff during transfer between the vehicle and hospital.

MRSA is of particular concern. In fact, in studies by Brown et al. and Roline et al., around half of samples collected from emergency ambulances tested positive for MRSA contamination. The samples were taken immediately after the transportation of a patient infected or colonised with the disease.

Our trained engineers, fully equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment, then carry out an effective deep clean treatment using a range of specialist cleaning products specifically designed, tested and approved for the eradication of harmful bacteria across the health sector.

Validation

Furthermore, our work is externally validated to provide you with a high level of assurance. Swab testing is undertaken for TVCs, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Clostridium difficile to further verify the efficacy of our work.
