What does a typical day look like for you?
07:30 start to review list of objectives to achieve for the day. Liaise with my manager, Dean depending on where in the country he is. Then by 08:00 I am making phone calls to progress opportunities for the company, book meetings and continue to develop relationships. At around midday, break for lunch. This usually consists of 30 mins or so to grab a bite to eat then back to it in the afternoon!
What is something only a few people know about you?
If I told you that, more than those few would know it. 😉
How did you get into your area of work?
Ok, here’s one… I was married at 20 years old!! Still going strong 12 years on.
What is it about your industry that inspires you?
Helping hospitals to help patients. It’s at the heart of everything we do as a business and is a real motivation to keep working hard and striving to offer our support where we can.
Imagine there are now 25 hours in a day, what would you do with that extra hour?
Sleep!
What do you enjoy most about working at Inivos?
The satisfaction of knowing that we are helping the NHS and seeing the difference we can make.
What are your interests outside of work?
Spending time with family, football (watching, not playing!), BBQs in the summer.
From your time here at Inivos, tell me about a work achievement that you are most proud of.
Managing and building customer relationships for an entire region and ensuring a change in management is felt as a smooth transition to our customers and prospects, all whilst supporting Dean to settle into the region and become the boss he is now 😉
What advice do you have for someone just starting out in your area of work?
Be nice to people. NHS staff are simply people like you and I, they have been through a horrid couple of years. Being nice and helpful will allow genuine relationships to form and enable us to understand and support the NHS the best we can.
