South Wiltshire residential nursing care centre provider, Wessex Care, commissions innovative UV-C decontamination technology
Background
Wessex Care were asked to accommodate a dedicated Hospital Discharge Support Unit during the COVID-19 pandemic and needed to mitigate against other care home residents contracting the virus. A deep clean was then needed before reverting to original use.
Method
Inivos Services carried out an assessment of high risk areas and instigated a deep clean followed by thorough decontamination using UV-C technology, the Ultra-V.
Result
Implementing a range of measures and investments to boost patient wellbeing, Wessex Care are able to ensure the safety of staff and patients through the pandemic.
