Ultra-V®
The intelligent disinfection robot that uses UV-C light ray technology for consistently effective decontamination.

UV-C light has been proven to kill vegetative bacteria by destroying the nucleic acid in DNA after breaking down the outer layer of the organism. Ultra-V® offers reliable, repeatable decontamination with consistent efficacy that has been independently validated. Each process is documented with a report emailed straight to your inbox so you always have the ability to demonstrate with a robust audit trail that validated decontamination has been completed.
All Inivos UV-C light products are compliant with BS:8628:2022. Please contact us if you would like to receive a copy of our independent testing report.

Our hospital studies show that a manual deep clean followed by a decontamination with Ultra-V® delivers the same pathogen reduction as multiple manual deep cleans, in a fraction of the time. As an example of this, Clostridium difficile is highly resistant to manual cleaning and can remain viable on surfaces for several years. However, carrying out a single treatment with Ultra-V® rapidly deactivates C-diff spores.
Sensors we call Spectromes™ are placed around the room to monitor the decontamination process, wirelessly communicating with the main unit to control the amount of UV-C light necessary for effective decontamination.
Following completion of our training programme, all operators are issued with a unique key card to activate Ultra-V® processes. The unit has been designed to require only one operator, allowing you to free up staff time.
Design
This technology is unique to Ultra-V® and ensures that the chosen area is fully decontaminated, including in any dark corners or diverse surface areas. The system can achieve between a log 4 and log 5 reduction of a broad spectrum of pathogens, including a log 4 reduction of Clostridium difficile spores and a log 5 reduction of bacteria. Ultra-V® can therefore inactivate C diff, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Vancomycin-resistant Enterococci (VRE).

It also has 10 UV-C light emitting lamps that are able to cover more exposed surfaces. Four rotating castors and a 360⁰ handle enable complete manoeuvrability and easy manipulation through rooms and corridors.
Simple to use without compromise on safety features; all the operator has to do is position the device and set up the Spectromes™. The device calibrates to its surroundings every time to ensure efficient decontamination. Proven to significantly reduce biological contamination across a broad range of organisms, and reduces the risk of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) in acute healthcare environments.
Advanced safety features
A movement sensor system of four passive infrared (PIR) sensors automatically switches off the lamps when unexpected movement is detected in the treatment space. Accidental entry to the room will cause immediate and safe shut-off of the device.
An emergency stop button can be used at any time to terminate the process instantly.
Ultra-V® uses no chemical compounds, avoiding any of the potential risks or environmental problems of biochemical disinfection. That also means that Ultra-V® requires less preparation than other decontamination systems such as hydrogen peroxide vapour (HPV), where require operators must spend time sealing up airways such as ventilation ducts and fire-detector heads.
