Background

Within the context of PPE shortages during the coronavirus pandemic, University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust tested the feasibility of reprocessing used garments.

Method

Inivos’ process of vaporised hydrogen peroxide (VHP) was applied to laundered garments, to test its effectiveness in decontaminating single-use PPE items for re-use.
